
Warriors at Ease adaptive yoga and mindfulness classes are evidence-base, trauma-informed classes geared for the military community.
Research has shown that yoga and meditation can help with down-regulating the nervous system, reducing symptoms of PTSD, increasing range of motion, reducing persistent pain, helping with sleep, and increasing attention span.
Warriors at Ease yoga and mindfulness classes are accessible, secular, and offer an opportunity to connect with other individuals from the military community.
As a Marine Corps veteran, Shannon is a Level 2 Warriors at Ease teacher and a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) with 12 years of experience. She has taught trauma-sensitive yoga in four clinical settings for the military community.
Classes will be virtual and limited to ten participants. Classes will consist of:
A short intake form will be required to ensure classes are adequately adapted to any injuries or health conditions.

- a short guided meditation
